It's amazing how when a manager is deprived of his main attacker, there are different ways to react, either, if you have a replacement who has all the same strengths as the man he is replacing, then yes, continue with the same system. If however, the replacement has a totally different set of strengths, it is stupid to continue with the same system.
Calvert Lewin is at his best with his back to goal winning headers. He is, however, very poor at running in behind and finishing. Beto is not the man to hammer high hoofs at all afternoon, but, give him balls over the top and his pace and power will worry defences. He has always looked far more likely to slot than Calvert Lewin, it now seems that if you play to his strengths, he's not as bad a centre forward as our previous manager made him appear.
I don't suppose he's ever going to be top drawer, but, I think Moyes will get a decent tune out of him. It's what can happen when a manager is not one dimensional.
