He is not good at football
Professional level sport isn't beer and skittles mate, even more so at elite level. Was sat near the dug outs last night and was quite shocked after Southampton scored to hear Ian Woan scream, “Beto! Beto! That’s all on you!!” Not sure how that is leadership or helpful in any way.
After that, both Woan and Dyche were hammering him the whole game as a succession of hopeful/hopeless balls were launched in his vague direction and he unsurprisingly struggled to do anything with them. As they were clearly blaming him for everything, I wasn’t surprised they took him off, and even less surprised that Ndiaye struggled even more to do anything with the “passes” now launched up to him instead. Strangely, once McNeil had been moved into the ten role, I’m sure we might have seen the best of Beto - or at least finally played to his strengths - but by then of course he’d been dragged off.
It’s absolutely no surprise that his confidence is shot.
I was in the Main stand and saw Woan shouting and throwing his arms up in air,I wondered whether he had to much to say maybe he should sit down and let the manager give instructions. Was sat near the dug outs last night and was quite shocked after Southampton scored to hear Ian Woan scream, “Beto! He should be stronger though maybe he should give a few digs outI don't even think he was that bad last night yeno he was practically getting climbed by their centre half all night...
I saw this too, woan and dyche were berating him all half, no idea what they were telling him to do, dyche was making some sort of hand gesture like go forward sideways back? Beto looked like he wanted to chin them, don't know what he was meant to do spent the game chasing the ball like a dog with a tennis ball with their defenders playing it between themselves with no help from anyone elseWas sat near the dug outs last night and was quite shocked after Southampton scored to hear Ian Woan scream, “Beto! And perhaps the ref should've done more about it, who was also really poor last night. He should be stronger though maybe he should give a few digs out
