Was largely anonymous when he came on apart from an incredible bit of defensive work blocking that shot from Lindstrom.

I had to laugh at that. Lindstrom had looked for that slipped in ball twice before but it didn’t come off. Beto must have seen this from the bench and he ran in expecting it then gets smacked in the face with the ball.

They can't play them together because he hasn't coached them properly. It was evident when they played together against Luton in the cup, absolutely nothing had been worked on as a partnership and that was 100% evident. Can't remember what game but he tried it again a couple of months later and again it was obvious it was a system he hadn't worked on.

He's been paid an awful lot of money to do very little effort on the football side of things.

Well that's not happening. No club is going to buy him or agree to an obligation. What will happen though, probably in the summer, is he'll be loaned out with an option to make permanent, which of course the receiving club won't take up at the end of the loan period. Rinse and repeat until he leaves at the end of his contract.
