2019/20 Bill Kenwright

Bill Kenwright sold to Moshiri because it’s clear he was the only man happy to keep him around.

The reason he’s still here is oh so simple, ego and a toxic one at that.

Yep that’ll be it, multi billionaire international business tycoon gets taken in and hoodwinked/coerced by tinpot uk based theatre impresario to ‘keep him around or else’ in multi million £ club sale. Tell you what there are some folk who’ll nail Kenwright for the JFK assassination next.

For His tenure, he can take what’s coming the good and bad- last few years tho it’s the Moshiri show and that’s it and where all credit or blame should lie. I’m no BK enthusiast, thank god he sold up in the end but as for why he’s still here well why was Doug Ellis kept around at villa after he flogged it and many other former owners- it’s just a token sweetener. Same folk insisting BK is somehow still calling the shots in any way are the same ones dead enthusiastic about say bramley Moore- oh is that bill then or is that Moshiri, you know the actual owner. Sick of hearing about kenwright, he is effectively a performing seal slapping his hands together in the directors box for the new regime in a puppet/semi honorary role- you got concerns/complaints/compliments or otherwise- it’s all now down to Moshiri.

Before Bill sold to Mr Moshiri I said that it might not be the holy grail most where hoping for ,not because I am a prophet but simply that there is only one league trophy and two cups .However it has turned out far worse than I would ever have imagined .From being fairly sure of a top half finish with boring tactics we have now become a team that has very little idea where it will finish and seemingly the most rigid unsuccessful predictable tactics in the division .From plucky Everton to a laughing stock in three easy lessons.

Yeah mean the best season we have had in many years, as opposed to this current one that is worse then anything we witnessed pre Moshiri.
Best season. But didn’t win anything didn’t even qualify for the champions league . So Bill’s idea it to reward managers for failure. And kept him on the following season after finishing 11th

Do you think silva keeps his job if he finishes 11th this season.

Going to Anfield was a regular thing for Everton fans years ago, like in the 50s, same as Liverpool fans would be at Goodison a week later, it was normal bevaiour back then, pre TV...etc when all games kicked off at the same time and travel to away games wasnt as easy as it is now
Been there done that, just for those reasons.
*Puts on cynical head*
Given the mid 60s popularity of liverpool the music city and the embryonic bbc/rs love in, if Bill thought he could get on he'd swear black was white, or in his case blue was red.
Lets face it if he told me it was wednesday I'd check to see if it wasn't tuesday or thursday

Fixed that for you

Yes possibly, Martinez showed us something in his first season, he did have some stock, ok he couldn't follow it up but in Silvas first season he was terrible and had a record of being a terrible manager.
While Martinez turned out to be bad we knew before Silva came has was going to be exactly like he has turned out.

Yes we were all unsure how it was going to turn out Witt a manager that had just got relegated and who’s teams conceded about 100 goals a season

And we all know he will be gone in may if he’s 11th
You can stick up for Kenwright as much as you want, but the reason Martinez stayed after finishing 11th and all the way to the final game the following season, was because some idiot gave him a 5yr deal. And probably couldn’t afford to sack him.

Kenwright himself agreed to be interviewed, he’d told that many lies in the past hecouldn’t deny what he said in that interview. He kidded the plums of us plenty of times in the past, got kidded himself by The Blue Union and couldn’t take it. You can carry on with your defence of Kenwright that’s your pregrogative and you’re perfectly entitled to do that, I want what’s best for Everton,I’m sure you do to, I don’t think Kenwright always looked after Everton’s needs, put himself first too many times in my opinion. You hold a different view, that’s fair enough.
Very intelligent reply, what University do you attend.

Won't be here by Nov. 11th
Edit; only time I wear anything red

Not just saying it now, but as soon as that muriel of Martinez went went up on the side of the main stand, I had a feeling, pride coming before a fall, hubris.

It was just a big poster! It was going to change all the time anyway.

I think it looked rather smart.

Probably true,

I was just making a point about Kenwright keeping Martinez after finishing 11th.
And Moshiri definitely wouldn’t keep silva in same scenario.
We kept him because we, Kenwright, couldn't afford to sack him until Moshiri racked up with his money, which he will use more of to punt the latest fraud sometime soon.
