Sounds like Bill has gotten a great deal that may sort the FFP problem for a player who was basically Marcus Bent last season.

The fact that we had to sell our best player today to ensure we stayed on the right side of FFP should be a sacking offence for anyone who has been responsible for any of our financial dealings over the last few years. Indeed if any of them had an ounce of integrity they would resign immediately.
Funny your player valuation is £60m ?

Never forget… "One very famous football club said to me two or three days ago 'whenever we have a problem we say 'what would the Everton board do because they always get it right?'"

An embarrassment to this club.
I've always kinda believed that story. Just not the way Kenwright tells it. Most clubs, including the "very famous" ones probably did ask themselves what the Everton board would do all the time. I mean its the best way of avoiding the worst possible outcome isn't it! Just figure out what Evertons board of clowns would do and them do the complete opposite because its a guaranteed winner.......

Bill Kenwright needs to go, constantly getting bent over by the buying/selling clubs.... He has stiffed us for years, he is a cancer and he needs to be cut out!

£50m plus £10 add ons is absolutely unforgivable...

Why is Thelwell not doing his job, this is proof the 27 year campaign knew what was going to happen, nothing absolutely nothing changes.

I hope the 27 campaign is ready to go, we need rid of Kenwright.

Think this is one where Thelwell has nothing to do with it.

Sold the family silver to pay gambling debts by all accounts.

Isn't there a phrase the king is dead, long live the king? If "King Billy blue" is being replaced by Kenyon no matter what your viewpoint on Kenyon, and the successors, it is time to celebrate the end of the worst custodian, chairman, director, shareholder, whatever, you name it, in our history. He is the avatar of our demise. You wonder what alternate universe he lives in if he's been okay with the last 5,10,20, 30 years for Everton.

All I can do is repeat an absolutely true story that I told on here a little while ago and no doubt the usual suspects will come back using words like parasite, and evil, and phrases loke fat slob and 'wilt and die'...that last phrase a complete disgrace and not befitting of any sensible human being never mind an Evertonian Thank God all Evertonians are not like that.Have a gpod hard look at yourselves. The true story.... I was chatting with the late Tommy Docherty in a bar near Stockport(what was then the Town Bar in Heaton Moor and during the conversation which covered many football topics including Mike Meagan('very versatile player') Docherty said 'Everton are a very well organised and run club'. His words not mine.

They probably are mate. But we have underperformed over the last 30 years.

Our boardroom of idiots couldn't a prayer in a mosque ffs. I wouldn't trust them to keep a rabbit going with lettuce. I'm not wishing harm on Kenwright or Moshiri or anyone else personally. I just the whole pack of them would sod off and never come near the club again. We're quite possibly the worst run club in the whole country (and we're beyond a shadow of a doubt the worst run club in the top flight) anyone who thinks otherwise is just lying to themselves at this point.

To be fair Steve you are very much like Bill. Always a story, Fergie, now Tommy Doc. We are so well run, the majority of fans are sat on 50 year old seats in a crumbling stadium. One final in 27 years and no wins. It wasnt like that pre Kenwright. In the seventies we won nothing, but genuinely had good times. The Latch, Dunc, Dobbo, Lyons we still were a big powerful club who attracted stars. in this era, stars have been Diamond Geezer Graham Stuart and Leon Osman. We are now well and truly small time. Lets hope the new ground makes us proud again.
