How is Bill getting stick?

We appointed a manager we can all back and made some signings we can on the main get behind this window.

No, it doesnt make us forget the last 27 years, but im curious why the need to give an old man abuse currently?
Short term, he's the chairman of the board.
If he is to get credit for appointing Lampard, he should get the same criticism for appointing (or failing to stop the appointment of) Benitez six months ago.
If the board is doing it's job properly, everything that happened over the last two weeks, happens quietly in late December, early January and Lampard is announced a day or two after Benitez is fired. Instead we had a very public attempt by Kenwright to re hire a manager, he as chair, already fired. There was all sorts of talk of job sharing with the Belgian FA. It was all public, messy, and embarrassing.
Kenwright has to take criticism for the absolute shambles of a management hunt.
Of course Moshiri is to blame but Kenwright should not be above criticism either.

If Bills last bit of legacy is getting shut of the FSW then that’s fine for me.
Although he should of vetoed it before he joined tbh
