We might as well just give up all together then mate because what will happen when he eventually has to step down? But that doesn't excuse the dereliction of responsibility.
This is in no way to excuse team performances over many years, but the ethos, the fabric and identity of Everton FC changed completely under Kenwright and as a result 'plucky' and 'punching above our weight' became our taglines, the living and breathing mood became solely nostalgic and in an ultra competitive industry requiring professional people we have a charity officer and an actor bumbling through.
No disrespect to Graeme Sharp but, board of directors? ?
