He must have had health issues for the last 27 years judging his performance.

When the board which he is chairman of lies about attacks on board members, then it’s not a massive stretch to believe he’s lying about being ill.

When he has lied about investment, then it’s not a stretch to believe he’s lying about being ill.

So is it crass? Perhaps but no one forced him to lie.

What I would give for some of those players back. Not the very best but they gave it everything.
