Whatever the real reason whether it's power, money, narcissism, stupidity or insanity he's badly ran the good ship Everton for over two decades. During this time there's been a decline. Hadn't seen Bill in a while on camera, seeing his quick interview today, he looked like he's aged very badly lately. For someone richer than 99% of us, I'm not sure why he's still hanging around. Granted, I'm presuming his day to day involvement probably is limited to an hour or two a day, but I'm presuming he's still feeling the stress of being the brunt of a lot of fan's frustrations. If it were me, I'd sack it off ultra pronto, and spend whatever time I had left in warmer shores than the UK.

Absolutely spot on. We're blessed to have a man on the board who bleeds Toffee Blue. Yes he has made mistakes but he's looking out for us because he's emotionally invested. Glad others can see this too.

I think a lot of us are blindsided by the massive possibility that he's not a blue. Remember he's an actor. Those rumours are rife. It would explain the lack of care and lack of competence in his running of this club and his constant mocking of the fans. He mocks us all the time and people can't see it understand it. He has you fooled that he's a blue. He is no blue but we keep thinking he is - it's the one thing that keeps him in place. What evidence do we have he's really a blue? There's other reasons why he's clinging on to dear life here, not because of his "love for Everton".
