If I were him I’d be too embarrassed to tell a manager “sorry, you’re not doing a good enough job, going to have to sack you” - brass neck on the guy.
Brass neck? What neck?

not one thing he’s done good for us
not one

He saved the club from Johnson a got Moyes in that stabled the club for a while but on the whole, he’s done more damage to the club than good. We’ve had more relegation battles under him than we’ve been to cup finals. He should have been outed after that Blue Union farce but some of our fans are to happy to see where we are then have change. We’re a big club with huge history and tradition but the games moved on whilst Everton have stood still.

Modern fans have grown up seeing Everton as a pointless club who just stay in the league. I go Germany a few times a year to watch football, and speaking to fans of clubs over there, majority don’t even know who Everton are, maybe a language barrier but when shoe them the badge or stadium, just shrug their shoulders.

All this has happened on his watch.

Yeah, we haven’t been relevant. With media and marketing more accessible and easier to promote than ever, the only time we get real traction is when we beat a team that is relevant, that has mindshare in media and advertising.

If Everton were successful they would be more well known.

People talk about the clubs history, that is becoming more irrelevant year on year due to more clubs comfortably ahead in those stakes or clubs close to surpassing it.

The club is archaic and has been allowed to be so. The situation here is that the needs of the few have far outweighed the needs of the many.

Yea,
Even if you overlook the FSF investment, or Green or Earl or the many passed up investment opportunities,
Even if you overlook the failed Kings Dock, Kirkby, and park end developments.
Even if you overlook the constant lying and theatrical pandering that came as he sold the most talented English kid in a generation.
disregard all of that for a second.

The day to day running of the club has been terrible. The gaps were papered over by Moyes and his ability to work the transfer market.
I moved to America in 2008. The premier league was a still fringe sport in one of the biggest markets in the world.
Two players helped change that more than anyone and both played for Everton.
Yet the clubs marketing strategy in the States was non existant.
The gap was filled by voluntary fans starting groups. Frankly it was pathetic from the club.

At the exact same time, our lovable neighbors with no American players had a kit deal with an American company,
Had a 'behind the scenes TV special with Netflix (or Amazon, cant remember).
Had deals with local US broadcasters,
Had sponsorships with several American companies.

Everton, with Howard and Donovan in the first team, had not one American sponsor. Not one jersey available in store. No official representation in the country.
It highlites how amateurish its been for ages.

We're run like a corner shop (maybe Bielsa can live above it)

Just heard Earnshaw's story on SSN that he was supposed to come to us on deadline day in 2004, but it didn't happen because "Everton couldn't make their mind up".

Fast forward to this week and we missed out on Danjuma due to the same dithering. It has been going on for a very long time and one man has been the common denominator in all of it.

C'mon now. He had the oppurtunity to choose someone else and did.

Walter Smith recommended Moyes for the job .
