1. Exactly what benefit to Everton Football Club is gained from having offices on the sixth floor of the RLB ?1. Moved us to the Liver Buildings
2. Alongside Colin Chong has done great work with BMD
3. Record shirt sponsership deal
Considering the clubs gone backwards under Kenwrights stewardship and all the chaos on the field in recent years I dont know what else the CEO is expected to do in all honesty.
People expecting amazing sponser deals with Nike and bringing in commerical partners to rival the big 6 at a time of us being a midtable/relegation battling outfit with no european exposure are not being realistic imo.
2. I'd really like you to quantify the 'great work' she's done on BM - especially as her fixed price deal has been blown out of the water ?
3. Ha ha, a record shirt sponsorship deal that is a drop in the ocean comparted to those enjoyed by so, so many of our rivals. And having to go literally cap in hand to another betting company after the previous betting company deal went pear-shaped and the Cazoo deal was cut short - hardly strikes me as awe-inspiring work.
Kenwright appointed her to be CEO, and she's done precious little of any significant note. She writes programme notes that are laughable and her presentations at the last AGM's were unreal. The Andre Gomes Hugathon and the introduction of the pre-game sirens were hardly earth-shattering achievements.
And in terms of improving sponsorship deals, I seriously doubt she has any genuine ideas of her own as to how to approach the worldwide sports sponsorship market - SportPesa, Cazoo and Stake were literally handed to the club on a plate.
There are 20 clubs in the Premier League of which only seven get to play in Europe and for the last few years (and longer) those places have gone to moreoreless the same clubs with the odd exception now and again... and the other 12 seem to do reasonably well in terms of their commercial acumen and success in generating sufficient revenue to supplement the TV income.
The CEO role should be the one that truly determines the strategy of the business and continually driving the business to exceed targets and increase revenues year on year. Our business has all but stagnated to the point where Everton are reliant upon Moshiri because the executive team in his employ woefully underachieve... that's down to a lack of direction, strategy and vision... all prerequisite qualities of a proper CEO person... which DBB clearly isn't.
