Carter was chairman again from 1999 2004, but i was always of the opinion that he was a puppet chairman in his second spell, and that it was Kenwright who was actually calling the shots.

Next he'll be giving Kenwright the credit for the 1969/70 league Championship, well Bill was in the boys pen then, dropped off to the ground on Uncle Cyrils handlebars to meet up with his mates, Tommy Steele and Elvis. Apparently the club took it down as they thought it had been defaced.

They received loads of complaints about a massive bellend on it.

On inspection, they realised the complaints were referring to Kenwright and not a doodle of a cock.
