We would be forced to cut back our squad enormously and would have to cut costs enormously. We wouldn't be able to compete next year on the field in all likelihood, but the club would go on.

That statement tells every Evertonian that Bill Kenwright’s time at the club is long since past. The best times he can point to in his long reign is two games where we were battling to avoid the drop and the reference to his and the Board’s advice not to attend Goodison Park when we all know there is no such threat to them apart from fans voicing their displeasure that they remain in place despite the clear and fulsome evidence that they are not capable.
