Fair enough I'll agree with that, I was at the Villa game supporting the team after being on the Blue Union march. Wonder how many of them would clap now ? Point with Moomins post and I agree with a lot he says, people do and can change, circumstances can make them.

That was the game I decided to give up my season ticket.

Blue Union recognised things earlier than most. It was the most that wouldn't give the Blue Union a chance and were quite content to be fooled a bit longer by Kenwright hence the show of support for kenwright when his mug appeared on the big screen. That was the death of the Blue Union. Now fans are starting to realise because of the consequences we are having now
I think Moyes had a lot to do with it really. The relative "success" of the Moyes era, kind of helped Kenwright enjoy some sort of decent reputation amongst some of the fans.

Summer 2004 was a real crossroads moment for Bill. The Kings Dock project collapsed, and Trevor Birch quit as CEO after only being in the job for a week or something. Wayne Rooney was sold as well.

However Moyes and the team, bailed him out of the brown stuff with that remarkable fourth place finish. Bill went from strength to strength after that. If it wasn't for David Moyes, then Kenwright would've been driven out of the club years ago imo.

Watching the fans clap the big head when his smug face came onto the big screen is the most repulsive thing I have seen at Goodison and I've seen Xavier try a through ball.

Think we need to find a way stick together now mate, the past is the past, find common ground because I do believe, the tide is turning. It's the ones still making excuses that sicken me, they've learnt nothing, that's for you Carlin you dipstick..
It's important to remember that BK had, and still has, the local media wrapped around his little finger. It's no surprise that fans were hoodwinked into believing that it was great that there was an actual Blue in charge of Everton, while other clubs were being taken over by foreign investors.

It's time to move on as you say. Let bygones be bygones.

Spot on about the media, especially the local media, rumours the Echo had been threatened a few times over access to Goodison.
