Possibly because hatred of Bill has been building up over decades as opposed to 7 years for FM. Once BK is gone I could imagine much more ire will start being directed at FM.

I suspect that it is because Kenwright appears to be the common factor in our lengthy period of decline.

I think they're equally as problematic, but at least Moshiri is delivering a new stadium. We'd be playing in Kirkby if it were up to Kenwright.

Also, Moshiri comes across as inept and deluded - almost laughably so, whereas Kenwright has a malicious, arrogant manner and he's been at the heart of Everton's decades-long decline.

Bill needs to be purged before the club culture has a prayer of being changed.

He's been the common denominator in our "managed decline". He's been the manager of that decline. He was the one who selected Moshiri. He is the one who chairs the board. He is the one who places his grateful lackeys in positions all over the club, ensuring their loyalty and his eternal influence. His clientelist relationship with these people means they owe him their positions. Their fealty is bought.

Even if he had no say on decisions today - which is patently not true - the culture of the club is his and set by him. Plucky underdogism and Good Times waft through the rafters at Goodison, seeping into the mindset of the fanbase. There needs to be a period of DeBillification where his malign influence is systematically purged from the club before we can ever move forward into the future.

Moshiri gets a free pass, its pathetic really, we laugh at Newcastle fans but they ran Ashley out of town, United fans dont turn a blind eye to the failings of Glazers, West Ham fans with the owners there and even Liverpool at times have stood up against FSG... but us, free pass.
