So let me get this right, he’s been ill from 2015 til now? If he’s been this ill for this period of time, then why hasn’t anyone from the club stepped in? Supposedly had a brain tumour and lost sight in his eyes? I first heard about his illness in 2017 in the build up to Bellew vs Makubu was been promoted and Eddie Hearn praising Bill but saying he’s very ill.

It sounds like a get out of jail card to me. Surely the HR department at the club should have put him on some sort of leave if he’s that ill. Wouldn’t wish illness on anyone, especially a brain tumour, seen the effects that has. But to me it sounds like manipulation from Bills part to gain sympathy.

People underestimate the extent to which the fan base is complicit in everything Kenwright has done to the club.

They have been hand in hand with Kenwright in destroying the mentality and ambition of the club!

mate 2008 was the first time the rumours about him being ill 15 years later still going on !

I've no sympathy with this stupid, ill-judged statement but in the interest of fairness, his health was used first by the AlltogetherNow folk to attack him, and it was wrong of them to bring it up.

none, and I repeat, none of this is the fans fault.
Fair play to everyone involved with Alltogethernow.
Given what this club has gone through it's remarkable the fans have been so well behaved.

That repugnant and deluded statement from Bill just reinforced what a poor choice it was to mention his health as not only was it just undignified to mention someone's personal ailments but someone duplicitous like kenwright was bound to exploit that statement as a means of distorting reality to portray himself as some tireless servant of the club who has been unfairly victimized.
That statement was truly unhinged, especially as some people who have asserted he is clearly trying to deflect rightful criticism all towards denise by mentioning that the chairman doesn't run the club, then what does he do bill? Just ramble about and get choice seats for games? I feel denise , moshiri and rest of the board are also culpable for the significant decline of the club's fortunes but hes at the epicenter of it all.

Definitely truth in what you say, by mentioning his I'll health it curries sympathy in his response to anyone who isn't an Everton fan. Should never have brought his health in to it, takes him from failing chairman to ill ailing old man, any attack on the back of that makes people look callous.
