If you two actually did some research you would know that the first step towards governance at Everton Football Club :

Is to reestablish existing governance structures at the club that Bill Kenwright and Denise Barrett Baxendale have systematically dismantled.

Such as the Everton FC Annual General Meeting reinstatement - that the board had cancelled

In addition to any new structures like the FAB etc that the board are not engaging with properly

So please get your facts straight before making these types of statements

For anyone who doesn't understand this fine example of the use of our English language let me unpack it for you.

Inveterate contrarian - Inveterate means it's like a habit. You keep doing whatever you're doing. Contrarian means going against the norm. So Davek is someone who goes against standard opinion all the time.

Zeitgeist means whatever defines or symbolises a certain period in History. To defend in absolutes is to ignore facts and nuance and just stick rigidly to your opinion. So in this case Davek is ignoring the prevailing and understood attitudes toward Bill's tenure at Everton and defending him without ever considering anybody else's opinion.

Have I got this right?
