Now I think this is a sensible strategy, draw the conversation into the open (but be mindful of the content) - he will be either A) forced into a response (giving him all of the rope he needs) or B) he won’t respond and it will be noted….the only thing I may have done is added a few more key facts of his tenure (to open people’s eyes) or asked him a few pointed questions in which case a lack of response is more noticeable but I think its a good strategy to draw the discourse directly with him into the public domain

TBH other than resignation I don't want to hear another peep out of him, not with a massive battle on our hands. Other than "I quit" Bill has nothing helpful left to say, and a defensive back and forth with the fans groups won't help matters at all.
