I’m trying to find some positives in this but can’t. I guess we need a Chairman in place from a governance perspective but that’s about it. It feels like we’ve got the equivalent of that guy who’s President of Belarus , no matter how much we protest he’ll keep hanging on, changing the rules and goal posts as he goes along.

as soon as the 48 hours nonsense came out, i knew he would be sticking around.

he is hanging on so that he can wallow in the glory of the opening of BMD.

probably angling to have a stand named after him too.

the man is an egoist, as are all related to show business.
The thing about show biz people is that they make a song and dance of everything.

BK's an old man, they don't change. What's he done new or different anywhere outside EFC for decades? Just dining out on distant wealth... But EFC are in the Prem, we're now. So he's 'relevant'.

But leaving now and admitting that 34 years of involvement - minus David Moyes era - was over and ending in disapproval? I don't think minds like BK can countenance that. The opposite, our struggles reassert his importance. But he'll go one day, and the business aspects of our club, which do impact on-pitch performance could and hopefuly will more quickly improve from that time.

For now, I've enough faith in Dyche that he'll get us into the stadium as a Premier League club, and American Investor sense will prevail in the boardroom at some point.

But we also godda be careful what we wish for... I love Everton as much now as in the 80's 90's and Moyes era. Yet, like many (probably most Evertonians) I was grateful and excited by investment when it came. Yet today, I realise I felt connected to the Club's ways of working in the Moyes era because I recognised our values and the success they earned. Build youth, buy low, build a team on values, play hard, and sell players when it makes sense (Lescott, Stones) but with an identity in which they can be replaced (Distin etc). The Koeman Walsh saga was despicable by comparison and kickstarted the short-term drivel of signings that mostly followed (barring Rico and couple of others).

BUT we could end up with more of the same post Mosh and BK (albeit we'd be very unlucky). SO, for as long as these old men wanna hang on to their investment with the ignomy of not being able to set foot inside the stadium (or possibly the new one), fine.

Just please give Dyche and co sufficient funds to do their real work. In their and the team's performances, more of the old Everton is re-appearing. It is Dyche and the squad, NOT Mosh, NOT BK who are keeping us up, and who will steer us into Bramley Dock successfully and up the table thereafter.

Don't make BK the show - that's the only thing he understands.

So what do we do? Bare minimum we can stay away from any home friendly, we really need to boycott games nothing else we could do that sends a clearer message.

I think it is wise to wait and see what actually happens when the season opens. It is annoying that Kenwright is still hanging around, but none of us know why. If it is to facilitate a new board with MSP coming in, he may not be around for too longer. Then again, he might be.

Yup, he's got nothing else. The club has to sort of sideline him and Mosh, and give everything to Dyche's team and our squad.

There was absolutely no tangible success in the ‘Moyes era ‘ that comment is straight out of ‘Kenwrights Myth of Good Times’
Just surviving because of lack of resources is not success , it’s just surviving.
