THE crisis at Everton Football Club descended into farce last night after Paul Gregg's millionaire backer announced he was not behind the scheme - and then changed his mind.
It just shows what a bang up job his media pals and general arse sniffers did of building the Bill myth to such levels that the public would vote for him as hall of famer.

I would bet that I (and many thousands of others) have spent more money following the blues than Bill Kenwright.
Kenwright bought shares with his and other dubious characters money at £896 a share.
He has since sold most of them at a far greater price.I have no problem with him making a profit that's business but don't try and tell us he loves the club.
What he loves is kudos of being the chairman of a premier league club.
It's all a massive ego trip and he can't get off.
He bought his shares with a loan and then saddled the debt onto the club, selling the training ground and Rooney to pay it back. I maintain to this day he hasn’t parted with a penny of his own money for Everton Football Club, he probably claims back his petrol to get to the ground on expenses.

I’m not going to lie, I can’t help but feel that the health issues people were talking about a year ago might be playing into all of this a little bit.
