I think the Moores family would have got back on board if BK had agreed to dissolve TBH in 2004 and step down as chairman
Happy to be corrected on that if wrong but I’m pretty sure that is the case
It's was his mother (John Moores daughter) who warned Granchester off getting involved with Kenwright.I think Lord Grantchester didn't like Kenwright not sure what went on there. Wonder what would have happened if the Moores family returned
they did with the other lot before he sold out.
Koffwhen i say kenwright you say out

38 tomorrow. The nouse of Bill Kenwright, ladies and gentlemen. Invaluable. They're either monumentally asinine and obvious or just cruel but to postpone the ousting of Kenwright to state he has important business to attend then sign 37 year old Ashley young on a free a week after the window has been open as the first signing is quite a depressing statement lol
Just wait till its revealed as 5 years deal.38 tomorrow. The nouse of Bill Kenwright, ladies and gentlemen. Invaluable.

I seem to remember Grantchester being quoted saying something along the lines of he wouldn’t put a penny into the club while Kenwright was there .It's was his mother (John Moores daughter) who warned Granchester off getting involved with Kenwright.
She had his cards marked very early on.
The clues were there long ago that Kenwright was a wrong un but many were taken in by his sentimental gush about the boys pen , Uncle Cyril and Dave Hickson the cannonball kid.I seem to remember Grantchester being quoted saying something along the lines of he wouldn’t put a penny into the club while Kenwright was there .
He clearly knew him well.
