It's that any actual attempt to begin construction, which they were desperately trying to push through, would have been deemed illegal regardless of who was funding it. Everton should strive to be the best no matter what. It's literally our motto- the phrase put into our badge to represent ourselves.
Kenwright has overseen our decline from the best pf the 80s to this low point in playing performance. He's not good enough to be our chairman and that's without even mentioning his ratbag behaviour last season which should have seen him sacked.
I feel without moyes working miracles with such a miniscule budget we would unraveled decades ago under Kenwright's reign of ineptitude. Moyes basically kept us on life support while Kenwright kept the club's infrastructure and business aspects perpetually stagnated. Which is agree he needs to be jettisoned as soon as possible along with moshiri who is equally naive and has continued to enable the parasite
