Exactly why the protests need to be ramped up, banners songs and pre match protests arent working.

He is still here.

The protests will only start back up if we’re in the bottom 3 come January. If we’re away from it then he will be able to ride it out indefinitely. I would be astonished if him and Moshiri aren’t still here when we play our first game at BMD.

I don't disagree with you. I'm not local - I am living in Berlin - so I feel out of place asking people to protest. But I agree in principle. I have never entered a season in my 40-odd years as a fan with such low expectations and such high contempt for the club as a whole. I'm actually bemused by even the most modest optimism that some fans can muster given that next to nothing has changed over the summer since last season's non-fatal car crash. The only thing that can keep us afloat now is the possibility that the three relegated clubs - or perhaps one or two overachievers from last season - turn out to be even more feeble than us. All the talk in the transfer and Dyche threads seems so utterly misplaced to me when the real cancer eating the club from inside sits in the boardroom - the interim Chairman for life.

When we inevitably hit the skids in October, there will be calls for the manager's head. It's depressing to say - but the manager is utterly beside the point now. His hands are tied. Utterly. The cancer is eating us from within. Treating a relatively benign symptom isn't going to fix us. Purging the cancer will. But the fans appear to be paralysed, impotent. I have no appetite whatsoever for enduring another season like the last two. And it seems inevitable now. Why would we expect anything different given that nothing has changed? We need new ownership.

They'll throw Dyche to the wolves first before that happens. And we have plenty of wolves amongst our fanbase who will sate their bloodlust by feasting on the latest bone in the dugout. Rinse and repeat.

Good post which sums up my feelings, my contempt is made worse by the fact that the individual concerned, like Trump, has no shamee that
he has overseen the descent into the 'also rans' we have become.

Doubt he would have the bottle to take his seat. I hope he continues to absent himself. I cannot understand why he is still there. Enoughn is enough
This. He would not have the balls to try it. I can absolutely see him attending certain away games where discrete access and egress is possible. And he lwill bask and revel in the cameras light. Horrible creature.
