It's people like you that have let us slip into this malaise through being apathetic and not really challenging the status quo.

It's a shame that he hasn't had to face one difficult interview in the last 30 years. Even now he's still fawned over by the majority of press and pundits, and that's where I will concede he's done an incredible job in cultivating a public image of a fan doing his best for the club. Of course if the sycophants in the media had actually opened their eyes at any point they'd have seen what he's been up to from day 1.

I can cope with the numerous failures under his watch, but it's just the complete lack of ambition he's had for a club that was one of the biggest in the land. The good times should be winning titles, but he's reduced us to such a mess that will likely never be possible and all so he could retain control. The really sad thing is if you asked him it was worth it the answer from him would be it absolutely was.

Haha mate I haven't even had a season ticket for a few years - I've never been a "proper blue" in the really passionate way so I completely agree with you! Its only really an interest to me, not a passion anymore.

So stop telling people like me who actually give toss about the club, how we should be showing our displeasure with the current board members who after tonights revelations are shown to be actually destroying the club and pocketing millions in the process.

You absolute idiot...Go away.

Slightly harsh, it was meant as feedback on an idea, a different perspective but fair enough!

Used to be passionate about it, just decided it isn't worth it!
 

Everton FC has been the best pension plan in history for Bill Kenwright. I think it was Randy Lerner who once said you can't make money investing in football. BK may beg to differ. He was a relative pauper when he took over, mainly using friend's money, then other people's money again to get rid of the previous "friends".... god only knows how he paid them all off in the end. Other operating costs perhaps? Then he found a fella desperate to launder his mates cash to offload to. He's loaded now and still getting paid handsomely for all the sterling work he's done in developing our club into the fine basket case it is today. Credit where credit's due!
 

Between this pathetic creature and Moshiri they have put this club in a position where it really could disappear.
We are up to our eyes in debt, bought badly and carried on buying badly and generally let other clubs mug us off.

To a small degree we the supporters have not helped because we lauded it when we paid large sums for gash players but blindly being won over by the size of the fees our massive rich club was spending and not on the so called talent we brought in and it is well and truly biting us on the arse.

We have very little to no chance of investment, even the dodgy investors are steering clear.

We won’t be bought out because with them over the road why would you? It would be like opening a burger bar next to McDonalds, it don’t matter how good the burger tastes you are up against a worldwide brand who can out spend you, outsource kits better, attract sponsorship etc etc etc.

basically we are fudged.

When the administrators were about to come calling to the RS they ended up being sold for a fraction of their worth and went on to win most things.

If the worst does happen to us it will be interesting to see what happens in our case...Usually the way that doesn't see us land on a soft fluffy cloud.

All of my reasons above mean it would have to be ridiculously cheap and a real punt, do we want to be someones punt?
