FFS. Smell that arse Maddox.
Brilliant post and as people above have said, it should be pinned at the top of the page. Be good if it could go viral as well, the horrible parasite needs exposing. He didn't spend a penny.
The money for True Blue holdings came from Jon Woods, Paul Gregg, Jimmy Mulville and Willy Russel. Kenwrights share (7m) was a loan from Anita Gregg.
There's no evidence that Kenwright used any of his money to pay Anita Gregg back.
When we needed the club's share of the King's Dock money the Greggs offered to loan the club the 30m we needed in exchange for a greater say at board level, (I think Anita was going to join the board from memory of meetings the Greggs held with various fan groups at the time)
This rattled Kenwright because Everton was HIS club, despite gaining control without spending a penny. He then invents the Fortress Sports Fund headed by his good friend and 'Huge Evertonian' Chris Samuelson during an EGM. The Greggs had by now enough and wanted out, they'd seen Kenwright perform a 30m 'cut off your nose to spite your face' act of stupidity in turning down their money to trigger the remaining funding for Kings Dock. (I forget what that number was, but it was large.) Ian Ross, (the Prenno of the day) later admitted that Fortress was a 'means to an end' and once the Greggs play to weild more power was gone it quietly disappeared.
After some scratching around Kenwright came up with that idiot Robert Earl, a very close friend of the the snake known as Philip Green. Earl bough the Greggs shares and either he or Green took over the loan from Anita Gregg. Around this time the accounts showed ever increasing figures as 'other operating costs' that when raised at AGMs visibly rattled Kenwright. It's safe to assume that these where partly some kind of loan repayments to Anitta Gregg, and later to Earl (Green) who's onky contribution during his time as a shareholder was bringing Rocky to Goodison.
Again, these loan repayments for Kenwrights shares are not from Kenwrights pocket, they're from the club's own coffers. Exactly the same as what the Glazers would do years later.
Since he sized power we've been run incredibly poorly as a business, losing money, running more and more debt. When we somehow managed to attract a top notch CEO on Trevor Birch he had a look at the books and told Bill to sell. When that wasn't entertained Birch left.
We suffered years of Bills btales of woe, lies over Goodison, Kirkby being "effectively free" etc all because he was so desperate to hold onto HIS football club.
"Hey Bill. If you can't move it forward, why don't you sell?"
“There's no better salesman for Everton football club than me, I'm searching 24/7 for investment"
How convenient that after an almost decade long search the fella he came up with allowed him to stay on as Chairman. What a coincidence!!!!
Moshiri initially paid 200m for 49.9% of True Blue, so Kenwrights share of that already made him richer that he ever thought possible. Subsequent additional purchases from Moshiri onky topped up that Pigs bank balance.
Short answer to your question:
ZERO pounds in = high tens of millions out, all the while saddling the club with debt due to piss poor commercial performance and having to take payday loans (Vibrac and now Rights and Media - by the way, I suspect Robert Earl and Kenwright are involved with both of these.)
Anybody who defends him is a total bellend. We are where we are today because of Kenwright. Every failure over the past 30 years is directly related to Kenwright.
He's undoubtedly the worst thing the ever happen to Everton football club. Worse than Houlding increasing the rent, more damaging to Everton than Hysel. It's death of a thousand cuts and he couldn't give a stuff about any of it.
I hate him, I have hated him for over two decades. If I saw him crossing the road I'd speed up.
He'll have had BK's poodle Prentice proof read those first few paragraphs before publishingFFS. Smell that arse Maddox.

So, he is still here!? I do not wish him anything bad but I log in each day hoping that there is a new thread titled summat like...'Bill Kenwright has stepped down' just so we can try and move on. It would probably be more beneficial to his own health and longevity to step as far away from Everton as is possible...and ours!
Great post, and to think it doesn't even touch on stuff like him selling Rooney and Finch Farm and lying about the state of Goodison or failing with the Park end and countless other screw ups and self interest moves. He didn't spend a penny.

‘Please show your goodison appreciation of William ‘the parasite ‘ kenwright’Just read this back again. A brilliant summary. Some real blasts from the pasts in there. None more so than Ian Ross. Must be a prerequisite of any Everton communications officer to despise the fans - what an absolute bell end he was.
Must have been a comment made on Monday Night Football.Well in Frank. Did he come out with anything else?
Yeah I realised it must've been MNF. Was just hoping he might have said a few more things to show what a tit BK is. But good that he even came out with thatMust have been a comment made on Monday Night Football.
I'm sure he wouldn't have been too controversial, he's on the lookout for his next gig.
