Not for me mate.

After a time has passed where we have some decorum in our behaviour for a fellow blue who's just died the analysis can begin as far as I'm concerned, and I'll be joining in.

I've described his impact as as bad or worse than John Houlding and I'll argue that again...just not now.
How long is enough for this official imposed period of mourning?

Personally, a week is plenty for me.

Its done tho Jake.
Thats my point.
Dont stoop to Holt's level
Time to move on.

(unless they name a stand after him!)
The destruction he's caused our club is all unraveling in the present time though, there's been some mighty revolutionalism over the last week. When the time to concern ourselves with that is I don't know. It's an internet forum though and it's been a week, I don't think speech should be stopped on the matter if people want to.

Holt has just lit the blue touch paper again and he’s gone to war with the fans.

I note he’s also very conveniently left out things like the Kings Dock, Kirkby, selling Rooney etc
He was treated with kid gloves while he was here.

It's not shocking his same client journalist pals are rewriting history. What shocks me is that blues are eating it up and repeating it.

"It was a great grief to him that he could not bring the kind of success to Everton he and the fans craved. No one gives him credit for it but it was his triumph that he kept the club in the Premier League when plenty of other big clubs fell by the wayside and down the divisions."

I wasn't aware that Manchester United and Arsenal suffered relegation? I mean, when the Premier League began with Bill on the board, Everton had 9 league titles. Arsenal had 10. Manchester United had 7. Our peers.

Who could Holt possibly be comparing us to?

And THAT is the legacy that dare not speak its name.*

*Until a suitable, arbitrary, period of mourning has been observed, apparently.

What has he said?

If I remember correctly their families are friends so he is going to come out and bat for him.

Basically wrote a complete hatchet job on the fanbase. Peddling absolute BS about why Kenwright wasn't welcome at Goodison anymore, eulogies him in a manner that completely ignores the facts of his chairmanship and essentially says that Everton not getting relegated was a monumental achievement.

Holt is a raging moron and nobody reads his garbage. I strongly suggest that you don't start now.

Have said what i have thought about his time here, in the cup game is right we show respect for his time and service here. Will never agree on that he did a good job here, he stayed on far too long and would not let go of his power at the club. Tomorow will give us a chance and a club to say goodbye but the talk of his name as a stand ot anything like that is to far, i would have no problem with a stone for him at the club on the everton way. Also dont give anything to these clowns at the media all want any excuse to go for us

And all the seasons we didn't get relegated were the good times.

What gets me is the father of modern day everton and what is that. Ask any from ask any fan that has watched this rubbish not winning at anfield can go on and on. Is a joke that the media is again insulting this fanbase headlock 2.0 that we dont have a right to question his time here, can all agree he has done nice things charity ect but us as a fanbase is on how the club has been ran him and moshiri both have blame
