Sorry, I don't see why I should now have to pretend to love somebody who mismanaged this Football Club to the brink of oblivion while profiting from it just because they've now passed away.

Going forward, 23rd October is a day of celebrating that he is no longer a blight on Everton.
The way you say the day he died is a day of celebrating, although its the day his reign at the club ended, is probably what kind of gives some folks something to get upset about. I hated him for what he has done to the club, but he`s now gone and I look forward to a year where we are no longer going to hear about the worlds biggest Evertonian or Bill Kenwrights Everton.

Mods, seeing as BK is no longer with us and there is never any chance of consensus as to his legacy, might it be a good idea to close this thread? What else should we do with the most divisive person in the history of Everton FC?

It will auto close after a period of inactivity.

Keep seeing this thread being updated and I dread clicking on it, just in case he’s back from the dead!
He's gone for good, but his legacy lives on

I’m not speaking ill of the dead but I wouldn’t want to name the toilets after him tbh.

Maybe they could name a suite after him if they have to do something but not a stand …
Even that would be too much. What other club would name something in memory of a chairman who oversaw the longest trophy drought in a clubs history, failed to find a buyer for the club when we were finishing top six for several seasons and other clubs were finding buyers, left the club nearly bankrupt while making a tidy profit when eventually selling the club to a bigger clown who let him keep his front row seat in the main stand.

Would Man Utd fans be delighted to see anything named after the Glazers or the Barcodes sit in the Mike Ashley stand. We are not short on people that have made great contributions towards building Everton into the club we love that we can name any part of the ground after without reminding us of this clown and how he loved the club so much he ran it into the ground.
