Hey is Faddy going to be back for the match?

I think the Barcodes are going to march all over Pompey.

MOM: our only fresh player left, Manny

Lokking very doubtful. Hope not. Our ex players always score against us, no matter how they performed when at Everton

Must win game - those 3 points are vital with some tough games coming up.

My team -

Howard
Neville Yobo Jagielka Lescott
Carsley
Fernandes Osman Baines
Johnson Yakubu

Arteta looks unlikely to play and Pienaar aint trained.

We need to start playing some good football and I think Manny should step up to be the key factor in that

agree with you. i reckon thats the team Moyes will put out with no Arteta, Cahill or Pienaar and Grav not up for it. not really any other options.

Go along with that(y)

I'm feeling a little pessimistic about this one. I see 0-0 or 1-1.

I might change my mind if TX Bill has a different opinion as he seems to be calling them correctly.

TX, are you sure about those lottery numbers you gave me? You weren't mixing them up with your 'phone number or your leccy bill or whatever - I have to know...

lottery numbers? are they any good for the one in the UK, got to get a ticket if they are TX Bill number, what are they?

I think we have sink in form for a while now, I think Birmingham would be the one has to suffer, it might even be a good things Arteta is not available for this one.

He called the Derby result very accurately. I noted it on this site, expressed my admiration and asked if he knew when my lottery numbers would come up. He entered into the spirit of my admittedly trivial joke and posted these numbers 4-14-22-23-38-49 but they could be his hamsters vital stats for all I know...:)

wish I'd never mentioned it now...

I have to consider putting these number in this weekend draw, last time i brought a ticket it must have been over a year.

We have nothing to worry about Birmingham, why?

Recent encounters between the teams:
2007/2008 Sat 03 Nov Everton 3 - 1 Birmingham C. PREM
2005/2006 Sat 22 Apr Everton 0 - 0 Birmingham C. PREM
2005/2006 Sat 29 Oct Birmingham C. 0 - 1 Everton PREM
2004/2005 Sat 23 Apr Everton 1 - 1 Birmingham C. PREM
2004/2005 Sat 13 Nov Birmingham C. 0 - 1 Everton PREM
2003/2004 Wed 11 Feb Birmingham C. 3 - 0 Everton PREM
2003/2004 Sun 28 Dec Everton 1 - 0 Birmingham C. PREM

We have only lost to them away in the season where we finish 17th, and the previous two meeting in this away fixture we have come away with 1-0 victory.

Gravesen will be on standby.

With so many key midfielders struggling with injuries, this ain't going to be an easy game for us. I see it being another nervous low scoring scrappy encounter. Best we can hope for is to scrape a win by the odd goal, that will be an immense result if we can pull it off.

I think we will win 2-0 - Birmingham are crap and are crapping themselves about possibly going down as opposed to our Dogs of War approach of old when we were in a similar situation. They have also had a heavy week in the news with Slapper Brady and Porno Sullivan doing a Ken Dodd with the clubs finances. It won't be pretty but I think we will do it.
