I see the previous versions of this thread seem to have been locked so I thought I'd put that right.

With all the criticism of the manager's tactics and systems over the last couple of months, I'd just like to remind everyone of the limitations and failings of some of the players and provide a place of solace for all those Saturday nights after they haven't turned up.

It's the Managers job to train the players and set the team up to play in such a way to minimise individual's limitations and failings.

Manager can only so much though, at times last season you'd have players who couldn't control a ball, couldn't make a simple 2 yard pass, pull of of countless 50/50s, and that's just sigurdsson

Nothing changes until the club actually move lots of players on. Why has there been no movement on outgoings?

Yet Ancelotti was lauded by many for his "Just play" approach.

Fine if you have top quality players, how many of our starting 11 are top quality? Throw in a couple of bang average and that's the real level of the team.

Like him or loathe him, every player will now know what's expected of them.

Do you seriously think Carlo only told them to "Just Play"? He's not Bobby Brown Shoes you know.
There was tons of work done at the back last year to reduce panic + errors and to get around the limitations and failings of the defence. This was a priority and it was addressed.

I hope you enjoy your Beneathus Ball next season, going from his history at Newcastle (with a similarly under-powered and dysfunctional squad) it will be sub-Sizable Sam "everyone behind the ball" hoofball.

Because no links bar vague ones for Richy and Gylfi and the situ with Kean have come about maybe? As the saying goes, you can’t sell if there’s no buyers
