I've always said the players are mostly to blame and have hidden behind our previous managers who have taken the brunt of supporters ire and lost their jobs as a result.

With el gordo in charge, I am happy to do a complete 180 and say he is ultimately responsible and should be booted at the first sign of the team underperforming.

Do you seriously think Carlo only told them to "Just Play"? He's not Bobby Brown Shoes you know.
There was tons of work done at the back last year to reduce panic + errors and to get around the limitations and failings of the defence. This was a priority and it was addressed.

I hope you enjoy your Beneathus Ball next season, going from his history at Newcastle (with a similarly under-powered and dysfunctional squad) it will be sub-Sizable Sam "everyone behind the ball" hoofball.

The ridiculous contracts they are on make it highly unlikely we'll shift any if them. Might loan a couple out if we're very lucky.

Our run came in the first few games,after that it was an Italian version of the Allardyce method. Park the bus and snatch a goal. This season will be similar,just without the four points off the kopites.
