Who keeps playing Ant Gordon?
Who keeps allowing Ant Gordon to take free kicks and corners?
Who keeps Dele Alli on the bench?
Who has won 2 games in 7?

When faced with the team sheet:

grinch.webp

Found this about our three 'worst players' from the Burnley game:

Ben Godfrey:

The Englishman lost two duels, and of course, made the vital error that led to Cornet’s winning goal.

He was also guilty of losing the ball 12 times, and struggled in particular with his passing, misplacing all seven of his long ball attempts, while he only managed to record a mere 54% overall pass accurac
y.

Mason Holgate:

Asked to play in the heart of the midfield by Lampard, the central defender lost out on six of his duels and failed to record any tackles or key passes.

He was also inaccurate with eight of his long balls, recording just 37% accuracy with his passes, while he gave possession away 23 times, the second-most out of any of his teammates
.

Jordan Pickford:

The goalkeeper struggled with his distribution throughout, misplacing 16 of his 26 long ball attempts, while he lost possession 16 times, hardly ideal from your man between the posts.

Pickford was successful with just 38% of his passes in total
.

Collectively, Holgate, Godfrey, and Pickford averaged a mere 43% passing accuracy between them.

Amazed Kenny didn't make this top 3 'worst'. Honestly cant see any player to have stats to be proud of from last night.

Why have you left out all the defenders?

Martina was a better right back than Kenny, Holgate is too busy concentrating on his England call up to make a tackle or two, and I've seen under 10's make better efforts at clearing their lines than Godfrey.

Is that really a manager's fault? That a player with an international cap has a shank at the ball like you seen on the park on a Saturday morning? That we concede a goal after three players all get skinned down our right flank inside about 2 seconds?

I'm blaming the players. The thought that they play again wearing our badge in like 48 hours makes me feel ill.

I was under the impression that it was a managers job to prepare the players.

Mentally, tactically and physically.

Find it funny how this never gets mentioned, I nearly put my foot through the TV at one point last night, nothing ever clears the first man.

I was under the impression that professional footballers could kick a football without slicing it like a school kid in the playground. I was under the impression top flight professional footballers knew it was easier to win headers if you get off the ground.

I'm not having these players get off the hook yet again. The thought of that makes my stomach churn.

FWIW I agree on the corners. Gordon's delivery is pretty dire for this level. He should be nowhere near them, until he practices how to do them properly.

You know whos to blame, here, let me tell you :

Kenwright - For sticking around
Moshiri - For not watching how we spent
Usmanov - For allowing his money to be wasted
Brands - For sitting there and not doing enough
Walsh - For spending vast sums on bad players
Unsworth - For caring only of himself and not the younger players
DBB - See Moshiri

They are the only people to blame at this football club, look no further.

The players are not very good. I know everyone seems to hate them for that but I can't really because it just isn't their fault. Very few of them have any discernible technical ability, and very few of them have good physical attributes. They aren't making mistakes because they aren't trying, they're making mistakes because they aren't good enough to get through games without. It's a damning indictment of how bad recruitment has been that of the 11 that started last night I would honestly be reluctant to put £100 on any of them to complete a 10 yard forward pass to a teammate in any given situation.

Cowardice runs through this lot like sewage in drains.
Pickford - if he was half as good as he thinks he is we wouldn't need any other players. A calamity.
Coleman - has hung on to long, Baines bowed out with dignity he's going to finish off with a relegation. Deserves better but don't we all.
Kenny - 'limited' isn't paying his lack of talent and aptitude the right amount of disrespect, so awful makes Martina look a worldie, and in turn Oviedo and Neville (both utility players) look like gods of the game. Wouldn't trust him serving the hotdogs and pies. A fraudster.
Keane - heavyweight waste of space, actively frightened of the ball as well as attackers, going into a very select bracket of wastrels alongside Fatboy Williams, eggshell head Kroldrup, permadrunk Funes Mori. Shambles. £25 million quid.
Godfrey - diddled again by another relegation favourite Norwich, is apparently left footed and quite athletic. Its a good job he isn't a dancer. Saying that he aint a footballer. Woeful. £20 million quid. How?
Mina - good on his day, his day being any that Colombia are running out in. Would have thought being happy playing in yellow would have him set for the yellow bellied sniveling cowardice this entire squad is now famous for. Jerk!
Mykolenko - ok leg foot, doesn't appear to be much of a runner, well, not when theres someone from the oppo to track and stick to. Early days but accepted a move to a doomed side. Like jumping off the iceberg onto the Titanic. International apparently, so was Martina right?
Holgate - out of his depth, out of ideas, out of last chances, out on his ear. Didn't fancy a move so is sat waiting the situation out like Barkley did. Gonna be a lot more of this. Woeful.
Richarlison - to much Pickford not enough Pele. Not even close to being the saviour he seems to believe he is. Has played a lot of football hasn't had the recovery time others have had over consecutive summers but can score from open play for Brazil but boots on backwards for club. Sayonara.
Allan - could have sworn I saw him with Yakubu in the post office the other day collecting their pensions. No legs, limited physicality, your days up grandad.
Doucoure - Isn't Fellaini is he. Full France international isn't he? What were the usuals doing cos he's another incredibly limited midfielder. Gash!
Iwobi - Ah, this prize plum, there's an irony here, he plays like he's made of glass (frightened of getting stuck in in case he shatters) - the opposition see straight through him. Can pick the occasional forward pass to feet or into space but rarely battles to get onto the ball to execute. A very bad signing. Arsenal don't often let good players go and we seem to pay arse over tit for the wastrels they want rid of. Never seen any other player ever crap out of 80-20 challenges when he's on the 80. Bad dose of the Schneiderlins. A big Mary.
Gomes - another big Mary.
Delph - delphinium, hardest talking pansy in the flowerbed.
Townsend Sigurdsson Alli Lennon - the Spurs connection. Wouldn't give Townsend any grief, heart goes out to him for an ACL at 31. Rough. Hope we get the insurers for the Lothario from Iceland. Rolls Royce aint staying. Good for Lennon for moving on and battling his way back to regular football. Stop buying from Spurs (even eventually). See Arsenal.
Grey - shame he scored against Arsenal, single handedly bought Jafa-the-gut another two months with that. Leicester have Lookman, we got Grey. Looked ok now looks lost.
Gordon - trying to be Rooney - isn't.
Rondon - everything bad about Strac, none of the good.
Tosun - clown.
DCL - playing like he's carrying his entire wardrobe on his back, needs legs like Ironman for the task.
Who's left, El Ghazi is a hologram, Begovic aint done much wrong, Patterson is being held in Azkaban or something, Branthwaite hasn't disgraced himself he's had all of 8 appearances, VDB nothing great - Ajax connection coming to old trafford.

There's no character, no fight, no commitment in that list. Stuck in the trenches lives on the line with this bunch, they're the sort to shoot you in the back and side up with the enemy. When relegation comes and they decide what's next, I pray they move out of the northwest. The stench of their cowardice is the strongest thing about them.
They won't be missed, they won't be cheered, they will ALL go down in infamy. That last home game could get spicy. Boo them all from the moment the sides announced.

Hate this collection of divs.
