We ran a staff talent show for the kids voting at school for charity. The results were never, ever based on talent - by far the best singer, opera standard, was always voted off first because she was a bit sharp with the kids. The winner was most often the youngest, bubbliest teacher who couldnt play an instrument, just did karaoke and couldn't hold a note to save her life, but was a good teacher and popular with the kids. It was great fun though. (I got to the semis actually playing my guitar and singing depressing folk music - which I was pleased with - just to introduce the little scrotes to a genre I'm sure most have never got to hear).
Folk music...
Ain't that child abuse?

But it does destroy the point of the programme. It should be based on performance not popularity. Anyway, who really cares?
It never has though, well certainly not last 15 years, very rarily as the best dancer won, they get to final but loose out especially if they been found out to have dancing background.

It’s more of an incredible feat and a nod to his dance coach I think that he was even able to get to the final.

What an amazing dance teacher she must be.

Yes the others were better dancers, one of them even used to dance semi professional, so to even to get him to that final was a huge achievement by his coach.

I felt a bit sorry for the other 3 dancers who were so much better but it was obvious from the start he would win and sure they know it to. What he did was a great achievement though regarding his disability
But when that fella Seargent?
3 Left feet ,popular voting wise the panel begged for folk to stop voting as its a dancing comp
