I never bought it, was a Christmas present from the other half.

I just have seen PS3's play Blu Ray Dvds and naturally thought, its main competitor would naturally do the same. How wrong was I.

I got stung on that front too. On the PS3 in mates you just plug it in and play. But on the Xbox you have to arse about paying.

hahahaha!

come over to the darkside!

and feel the force of the ps3!

l.c.a.b you online with your ps3 mate? if so what games you got as im online with mine!

What is this blu-ray lark anyway. I downloaded a film last night, linked it to my TV, and it was clear as anything I've watched on DVD. It cost me nothing. I was chuffed. Blu-rays really worth the money?

Mate , I am online , but Im [Poor language removed] on the Footie games , when the other team is attacking , my goalie takes off in the opposite direction !! Ive had all the games ( Courtesy of Talksport , as was the PS3 , Ps2 , 2 x Dvd recorders , home cinema system , 2 x dab , Andrew Flintoff shirt , Brian Lara bat , etc . ) , but the kids always tax them .
Now , if you want to play me at Cricket , or Tiger Woods . That I can do .

I couldnt answer mate.

Cheers Microsoft. :@

Come on mate, kinda your own fault, should have done a bit of research first!

Sod the PS3 off and just buy a Blu-Ray drive for your PC and hook it up to your TV. Thats what I am doing. Saving me a bundle of cash in the process.

Last I heard Microsoft were meant to be adding Blu Ray? Clearly decided against it

Looks as though the PS3 beats the xbox in all markets - but thats expected given the cost difference.

MS said a while ago they would consider adding Blu-Ray, but it was some way off.

And I am not gonna argue about whos better than who. Go with the one you like the games for, and for me, that is the Xbox. The only 2 games I want on the PS3 that I can't get for Xbox or PC are Metal Gear Solid and GT5. Otherwise I will manage just fine with my white console.

Ugh, thought I was drawing you in there (y)

To be honest I only ever play on Pro Evolution and Call of Duty - and even thats rare so I am happy with the Xbox. Wouldnt be worth me paying the extra for a PS3 because I wouldnt see the use.

Surprised Microsoft didn't incorporate Blue-Ray though.

NINTENDO 64!

Blue-Ray is made by Sony and as they are Microsofts competition, they'd have to pay them to make their disk drives, thats why they don't play Blue-Ray
