It's a Grade II-listed building and owned by LCC.

So on many counts that's a no-goer mate.

Christ mate, that even if possible would becrruly horrendous, it's a landmark of that part of the city, be like digging up half of Stanley park and moving it the docks.

Fair enough. I will withdraw that suggestion! Don't want to further alienate fellow fans, particularly after suggesting that I didn't like Grand Old Team (the song)lol

Back to us using the Liver Bird:

"and if you know your history..."

Everton Football Club, however, was the first football club to use the Liver Bird symbol, on its medals and souvenirs up until the 1930s when it was replaced by Prince Rupert's Tower, another iconic Liverpudlian symbol, in 1938. The club commissioned the incorporation of the Liver bird on the league championship winners' medal in 1890, Everton's first ever championship title, won at Anfield, their home ground at that time.

Boss.

These facts should be more widely known.

When I see the liver building, or images of it I never think of that lot. Its an iconic symbol of our city, particularly the docks and I think its only right that we have some reference to it in the new stadium.

From a marketing point of view I think it will give us more identity to tourists who may have not known that Everton was in the City of Liverpool

People need to chill about this bird. Who's arsed? Let them have it! Its not theirs. If they think it is more fool them. It belongs to the city as we all found out a number of years ago when their slimy club tried to trademark it.

I'm of the mindset just to take it back, paint it blue, just to piss them all off!! Childish maybe, but its about time they were put in their place!
