I always thought this was ages ago, from what you have said though it must be post 60's.

In it's defence did it point an accusing finger at the West End of London or across the Atlantic ?

The 60's....... When Time Began as far as those blerts are concerned, when all of a sudden they had a fanbase, up until then admitting to being 'one of them' was a fate worse than being 'one of them.*'

*said whilst striking a kind of I'm a little teapot pose.
