Lemiwinks ftw.
Does this mean he might bring a few USA internationals over if he gets the job? Beasley is a free agent and could plug the gap left by Milner.

Apparently, no, technically, Bradley has not resigned, yet. However, there's a persistent rumor that he made a "farewell and thanks for the 4 years, lads" speech in the dressing room at the Brazil friendly. This suggests that, although his contract runs through December, Bradley expects that he will NOT be the USA coach as of the October friendlies.

For the record, my Evertonian days preceed even Timmy. I like having Americans in the team (only if they help us), but I'm a Blue for life now.

Agree 100% (except for the preceeding Timmy part). I love seeing my favorite players on my favorite teams, but Everton chose me and there's no escaping that now!

In any case, even the casual fans who jumped on board with Landon won't be jumping off for Bob Bradley. He has his supporters here, sure, but nothing so extreme as Landon, Clint, Timmy, or even his own son - nothing to make people change team alliances. What I WOULD be concerned about if/when he goes to Villa is them scooping up the uncommitted, ripe-for-the-picking new American audience who naively expect AV to become the new Team America.

In terms of the team, I'm all for getting Donovan as an Xmas present and not paying the premium now. However, the one big advantage of grabbing him now is that we'll get the lion's share of the US fans just getting into soccer.
