I just have the feeling that this year we will break the transfer record, its kind of a strategy thats been used by the club a few times in the past, one big marquee signing to draw attention from other things at the club, lack of investment, no progress on a owner etc

Whatever Marinez gets to spend I would like to see some deals done early and not the typical Everton last minute bids and fails. Would be great if we can get a few in so they can gel in pre season for once. I wouldn't mind if Fellaini went because hopefully that money can go on 2-3 players

Id like to see money spent on bringing in depth filling some weak spots out and improving the squad, THEN felli leaving and marty having a extra 25 mill to get rooney ;o

I've watched the press conference 3 times and it has started to concern me that there could be a complete squad overhaul process taking place over the coming years, Martinez seems to like the idea of buying and selling, but I really think we only need a maximum of three players. One in each outfield position.

If the will from both him and the club is their mate it could be done, in terms of what it would do for our profile its priceless, in terms of rooney willing to take that much of a hit on wages, if he did i think it wipes away every bad memory of him as a young lid after his move to utd instantly

Heitinga,s contracts not that long so i cant see him getting a big fee. will be made up when he is gone myself, do need a keeper even if its only to keep howard on his toes or on the bench, and a few good squad fillers to put a bit of pressure on the first team. would be good to have a real choice in one or two postions, possibly a bit of pace around the place

hopefully some of the youngsters people talk about will be able to push claims for first tema places this year allowing funds to be spent on improving the first team, not just adding numbers to the squad
