Really do not know where I got this from. I might have dreamed the interest from the top clubs.

Martín Palermo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Date of birth 7 November 1973 (1973-11-07) (age 35)

Interesting player tho, some facts about the boy :

On November 20, 2001, after celebrating a goal, he stood on a small concrete wall, which collapsed under the weight of Villarreal's fans and broke both the tibia and fibula of his left leg, leading to two months of inactivity.

He is in the Guinness book of records for having missed three penalty kicks in the same match, against Colombia in Copa América 1999.

And hes just scored a ******* amazing goal.

He used to be ******* brilliant on FM, probably where you've got it from.

Vasco da Gama v Icasa
Vasco da Gama

Boca Juniors v Deportivo Tachira
Boca Juniors

Nacional De Montevideo v Nacional Asuncion
Nacional De Montevideo

River Plate v Deportivo San Martin
River Plate

Boca Winning 2-0, Vasco Winning 1-0, so far so good.

River Plate and Nacional play at 1.30, only pays me about £40, but better than a smack in the mouth.

I don't think it's Palermo the big clubs are interested in. Not at the age of 35. Palacios has had a number of big clubs including Barcelona looking at him

Agreed - it's not Palermo clubs are after.

Heard Palacios links before, but Chelsea & Utd were linked with River Plate's No#9, not Boca's - Radamel Falcao.

Noticed today on CNN that Boca have slipped to 15th in their league, shame really, massive club with massive support, Maradonna'll be more gutted than when he got the national side walloped by Bolivia.

Yea clearly I dropped a clanger with the Palmero story. Got my wires crossed somewhere, sorry chums.

Theres some decent players over in that South America tho, theres a player from Gremio, called Sousa, onloan from a French team, name escapes me atm. Hes very good, but hes 30.
