The lack of oxygen troubles footballers in the whole area of the highland plateau called Altiplano. Whether Argentina acclimatised by staying in Bolivia long enough or keeping their stay as short as possiible, ie the duration of the match is unknown, if they did not prepare, they got what they deserved. They always seem to upset one of the two "Brazil or Argentina" on home soil in tournaments or friendlies and always are at around 4/1 for a win. For the last four years i have backed Bolivia in these games and they dont let you down that often.
