Not much from me recently, having real problems with Lightroom causing BSOD's on my PC. Anyways eventually got a few from the Bournemouth Airshow developed.

First is the Beach Hut (Shared Family one) where I sat and watched the show from for most of the 3 days.

Hi all you photo buffs some great pics on here, I'm looking for a bit of advice, of on a boss holiday to Thailand in November and have bought myself a half decent second hand camera for the occasion, ( Nikon 3100 my first DSLR ) it came with the standard 18-55 lens. I am looking to add a new lens for the holiday, may be some sort of wide angle zoom or the like. If anyone could pass on some helpful advice I would be grateful.

A wide angle would have to be something like the Sigma 10-20mm lens. You may though find the kit lens is OK for your landscapes, and you may be better off buying a medium zoom lens, like the 55-200 VR.

So I just went to Barcelona recently and I have decided that taking pics of cool stuff on my phone camera just isn't cutting it anymore, especially in low/mixed light situations, or should I want to actually zoom in on anything. Now I don't want to get anything flash, with 1mil x zoom lenses or anything like that, because a) I'd break/lose it, and b) it'd take me a day just to walk down 1 road cos I'd be taking a million pictures of everything, so is there anything that's in the £50-100 range, that will take decent pics in those conditions?

Cheers lids :)
