Love the Kirkstone Pass Inn. Missus won’t stay there as it’s so haunted !
Yeh if you keep driving past the Inn from Bowness way it’s not too far up. Brotherswater Inn is where you park and walk up.
Another cracking pub.
I much prefer it around there out of season.
No coach parties and fat middle aged fellas on motor bikes.
Spent some time in the lakes district a few years ago, loved it.
People who live there, me included, don’t make the most out of it ever haha.
Bit envious of you i must say, would love to live there.
Well, I don’t really live in the Lakes, just a few mins out of it in a rundown notorious working class town.
Surrounded by some of the most beautiful places in the whole country though
