If you go back to where you saw it and wait for a few minutes, you should see it again and you should then see it go to the ground, where it`s nest will be.
I wouldn`t go near the nest though, as even one disturbance can cause some birds to abandon the nest.

The dam was never in danger of collapsing. It's only the concrete covering the main structure of the dam that collapsed. It was all a big fuss over nothing at the time.Well I suppose it's nothing too serious, just like a blown fuse it can wait...

Shot on my Nikon F-801 on about 6 ISO film. Bit weird shooting at second long exposures in 24° heat and light.
Sky was as clear as you’ve ever seen unfortunately, the polarising lens probably doesn’t help eitherWas there a clear blue sky? Any burning-in you could have done to the sky to bring some detail up?
