Been running in a race in the Lakes this weekend.

This is a pic I took on the phone of the road up to the Kirkstone Pass from Ambleside.

The weather was bizarre, monsoon like rain, low cloud, but too warm to wear a waterproof.

Perfect trail running weather !

Spent last weekend in Wales with some friends as a Birthday trip away.

We stayed in a cozy little fishing town called Aberdovey and took a couple of day trips out to Harlech Castle and Barmouth.

Got pretty lucky with the weather as well fortunately. A very scenic part of the country for sure!

Plenty of pub grub and local ale was consumed along the way!

Spent last weekend in Wales with some friends as a Birthday trip away.

We stayed in a cozy little fishing town called Aberdovey and took a couple of day trips out to Harlech Castle and Barmouth.

Got pretty lucky with the weather as well fortunately. A very scenic part of the country for sure!

Plenty of pub grub and local ale was consumed along the way!

The drive there from Aberdovey/Aberdyfi (for our Welsh posters ?) was stunning. All coastal road up in the hills.

This wasp was quiet happy for me to take it's photo - time was around 7pm, and the day was wet and windy, and cool at around 16°C.

As well as being voracious and important predators, (common (Vespula vulgaris)) wasps are increasingly recognised (according to BBC Science) as being valuable pollinators, transferring pollen as they visit flowers to drink nectar. It is actually their thirst for sweet liquids that helps to explain why they become so bothersome at this time of year.

Took this one of Joe on Aug 6th. Really sums up and captures his presidency so far I think. We've got a lot of fear, definite child abuse, massive hypocrisy, and also a bit of seediness thrown in along with a Trumpesque haircut and them amazing colours to match his dodgy tie just set it off beautifully. Reallly proud of this one.
