A great catch (by both the spider and yourself.) Excellent pics.
On hot days I can sit for ages gazing into the shallowest bits of the pond. It really is like the serengeti down there. Once your eyes get accustomed you can spot the hunters and the hunted.I really did feel sorry for the victim... It was like watching an Attenborough scene on TV...
Paul.
If you love the outdoors, it's nirvana...you'd be in macro paradise in the fields/valleys, Mr. Baggins.Amazing place m8.
We go all over, primarily in the Central, SouthCentral and SouthWest areas of the Rockies. The First picture in the 5 above is coming in to Telluride. The old log home is in Powderhorn, the white building is the Town Hall in the historic mining town of Tincup. Coming in from AZ, we arrive through the '4 Corners' area (Cortez/Mancos/Dolores) and head out North/NothEast, as we climb in elevation. It's a great way/area to view the history of homesteading, the gold boom and Westward expansion in the States. What areas did you visit? Always hunting for new places, and I am live IN Colorado.
