Boss photos you've taken

One I took which I quite like, Swedish House Mafia in Amsterdam, only with an iPhone 5 mind you!

slightly on/off topic, but does anyone know how I might fix my stuck camera lens? Think I've got some sand lodged in there and it won't open when I turn it on, which results in the error message 'lens error automatically shutting down'. Any ideas on how to fix it or do I owe my ex a new camera?

My first walkabout with the 70-200 lens, down on the nearby canal.

Just mallards there except for one moorhen which wouldn't come too close anyway, so I obviously had to crop this. The weak sun was out but it is still mighty cold out there. I had a t-shirt, shirt, fleece, scarf and gloves and a big winter overcoat on but even then I couldn't stop shivering, so I was surprised to have a degree of sharpness even!

First image using the 17-40L lens on the 5D Mk2....

This is Savick House in Preston on the banks of the Preston to Lancaster canal. It will look much better come summer, trust me, lol...

Odd thing though, is that I can find no history about on the web, anywhere. I have googled it and found nothing to describe why it is named so prominently, nor it's purpose. I think I did spot a flag blowing in the wind which I think had the Preston Borough motif on it, so it may belong to the city council, and possibly is occupied by someone connected with the canal maintenance department... I will have to try and find out more. For now, it remains a mystery...

Paul.

I took a boss photo the other day.

It was a man walking down Rupert Road in Huyton with a hawk on his arm.

A normally clothed man with a big fecking hawk just chilling there.

Repairs can be done, but expect to pay a fair bit. Try ringing Newton Ellis if you live in Liverpool (as opposed to Berlin)....

Thanks mate. Had another fiddle with it and seemed to make it worse so have settled for defeat and paid her off
