Lampard played the kids at Chelsea because Chelsea had been hit with a transfer ban at the time.

Quite how the transfer ban has been forgotten over the passage of a couple of years I don't know, but it's NOT the case that Lampard has always been some kind of champion for younger players.

This. Laughable how many posts have said ‘don’t panic, we’ll get some strikers in January‘. The way we continue to blow money on bang average dross is baffling, what makes people think that’s going to change in January?

Im giving Pickford a free pass today, he's kept us in games all season, if the other lot had their mistakes highlighted, we would be stringing them up on the lamp posts.
