There used to be a Wetherspoon's fairly near the ground where a lot of Blues went, but, that has now closed.
I remember meeting Speedo Mick there a couple of years ago. Seems a genuinely nice guy.

At the moment they are a bit like Fulham was to us back in the day, lose at their place win at ours but the way we have played so far we have to back ourselves to win against the mid to lower team home and away.

Massive fan of Howe as a manager and his teams are always hard to beat, especially at home.

IMO Silva will persevere with those two. I can see his reasoning tbh. It's not a criticism of him. I reckon he knows all eyes are on the two CBs brought in because we all see them as key to our season. He wont want to destroy the decent vibe so far built up and risk playing one in the next couple of games (a risk if they have a poor debut).

I personally think if Zouma looks way better than Keane in training then Silva will have no qualms starting him. They will have played little matches in training so it could depend if Zouma seems to have any chemistry yet with Keane or Holgate.

Don’t think either deserve to be dropped after the first two games tbh. But I worry for Keane a bit with them having King and Wilson up top.

I remember Mourinho using Zouma as a defensive midfielder a couple of years ago against Fellaini while he was managing Chelsea and he had the big man in his pocket the entire game, this was back when Fellaini was a pretty effective #10 under Van Gaal too.

Might be worth considering if our midfielders keep getting knocks.

They have won 2 on the bounce, its a holiday weekend, their ground holds less than 20000, one of the bigger sides is in town, and they cant sell out unless they let Blues buy the tickets.
