Yeah I’d go with that, had him 4 behind myself. Didn’t really do anything of note imo.

Absolutely terrible fight to watch. The other lad has the worst style to watch but he just seemed to be landing much more and Maxwell never had any ideas. I'd struggle to give Maxwell 4 rounds.

Maxwell is odd because he has the GB pedigree but he doesn't adapt well to awkward opponents.

On another point Nathan Heany fights tonight, hes sold about 2000 tickets and hes fighting an absolute nobody journeyman. Huge fanbase from Stoke.

Hopefully he will fight a boxer at some point in his 'professional' boxing career.

In fairness anyone who’s had a couple of years training in boxing will smash somebody who’s a MMA fighter in a boxing match. All of these match ups With MMA fighter are designed to give Paul some sort of advantage. Ngannou trained as a boxer and wants to go into boxing after UFC. He might knock Paul into orbit though so Paul’s never gonna take that fight on even if it’s offered to him. Plus Ngannou has a fair weight advantage over Paul so I can’t see it ever happening

don’t know much about boxing, but isn’t it usually common for an up and comer to essentially beat journeymen and enhancement guys for quite a while before they fight anyone “real”

If that’s the case then we’re probably a while off from Paul fighting someone who actually can trouble him right?
