Boxing

Right now he would. Once he develops under James and if he can get his head right. He beats Wilder comfortably. If Fury can knock Wilder out and fighters from Ortiz and the likes of Washington can hurt Wilder, then so can Joshua.
In a 12 round fight wilder would land one of them punches imo before aj

Them punches are rediculous and just come from no where only v skilled fighters will avoid that and that isnt aj for me

He’s got an absolutely amazing dig but at world level he’s a dreadful boxer and makes errors that aren’t far from schoolboy. With the exception is list of opponents is generally poor , I know he’s ko’d him but Ortiz in his 40’s tested him twice . Who else is in there ? If Joshua had a resumè like wilder he’d be getting slaughtered.

I’d probably pay to watch Joshua wilder but the idea it’s a given for wilder is just beyond me .

Not saying you’re wrong mate , just giving my general opinion . Historically I’d edge towards joshua but I just don’t know where he is now so it’s something I’d love to watch . Ability wise I still think he’s well ahead of wilder it’s whether he’s got the ticker any more.

Like you though I’d deffo be up for seeing it , I’d probably try and go to be honest especially as I regret missing fury /wilder .

Exactly that, he’s got a world class punch but that’s it. He is the most one dimensional fighter I’ve ever seen. He wasn’t getting just tested by Ortiz, he was getting completely outboxed. Ortiz isn’t the only one to do it, a lot of fighters have gone in there and outboxed him til he’s landed that punch.

Always thought Joshua would beat him, still do, especially if he’s mentally right. If Wilder didn’t have that punch, he’d basically have a lot more loses on his record and be very similar to his brother.

See, Joshua is a very skilled fighter and was never really a massive one punch knock out artist. What made Joshua effective was his speed and combination punching. It was his output and shot selection that made him dangerous. Because he was knocking everyone out, people built him up as a one punch knockout artist when he wasn’t.

I’d rather see Wilder vs Joshua out of all the heavyweight fights to be made because it’s so exciting and dangerous for the both of them.

Yeah That first fight, I think it was , Ortiz was absolutely dominating him . Most of these fighters who were outboxing him are at best distinctly average . I felt Joshua would win however now the issue is his mentality, heart or ticker call it what you like i Just don’t know if he’s up for it any more and only time will tell .

I get the impression Joshua has fallen out with the sport and I reckon his next loss is likely his last bout. If he keeps himself in good shape, he'll have a fine second career chatting utter crud ringside with the rest of the clowns.

Think he’s worth well over a £100m
So the whole second career thing probably doesn’t stress him as much as the lads who are still paying mortgages

The first fight, Ortiz nearly finished him but pretty sure he got saved by the bell. The second fight was similar til Wilder landed again. He’s exciting to watch and should be a bigger star and deserves more respect but he’s so limited and the level of competition he’s had has been poor. If you weren’t a boxing fan, you’d struggle to name who he’s been on with apart from Fury and Ortiz. He was like 40 fights in and hadn’t shown any progress at all apart from relying on that punch.

Imagine how dangerous he’d be if he actually knew how to plant his feet properly? Nobody would get up.

The interviews he’s given after Saturday, the way he’d said about the media been annoying, and the politics. He’s probably had enough and thought what’s the point of putting myself at danger to please people. What’s the point of him trying to make fights because when they fall through, it’s him who gets the blame instead of Wilder and Fury who’ve been the ones using his name to build their fights and careers up. Both have avoided him but needed his name because prior to Joshua coming along, nobody was interested in the both of them nor the division.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were right. Joshua has the power to do the same to Wilder, mind, if he's not afraid to let it go.

Wilder's bombs don't really come from nowhere though, do they? They're huge, windmilling, telegraphed rights.

Amir Khan two year ban for being on the juice. Tut tut.
Disgraceful from the BBBoC the way they’ve handled this again. They’ve gotta be one of the worst ran boards in Boxing. No wonder Khan wasn’t quick to activate that rematch clause. From Tyson Fury and Hughie fury getting caught and using the excuse of wild boar meat, to Whyte and Saunders for over the counter medication, Benn with the worlds most dangerous eggs, it’s a joke. Khan to say he’s failed because of potentially shaking somebodies hand is hilarious though. Sadly the sport and other sports are full of people on gear, just look at them lot over the park, it’s ripe in sports, especially with big money in sports.

The fact we are so advanced with sports science now, nobody should be testing positive for any supplements. The advancement in recovery should be enough to get these fighters more than ready to fight.

Wilder’s timing for that right hand is set up perfectly, he’s shown it on other fights.
