great post by Bruce. "tabloid clown". Can't say I have enough respect for Tony Marsh to bother posting.

Toffee Web do seem to be publishing this asshole, soley because it gets peoples backs up and therefore increases contributions and web traffic.

Pretty pathetic way to go about it.
 
He takes umbrage to me defending the club against his, Tony Marsh and there minions outlandish claims that a manager who has got us level on points with Liverpool, in a semi final and last 32 of a European competition - is clueless.

I mean, [Poor language removed] me, what are they expecting? Moyes to be crowned Manager of the Universe before they crack a smile.

To be fair a bit of contention is good for a discussion site. It's no good having everyone agree with each other. I remember when I first started my environment forum I actively sought out people that thought GM food was a good thing, that climate change wasn't all its made out to be etc. to try and get some debate going, but it's really important you don't lose control and have trolls being different for the sake of it. It's a fine line.

yes, but I think the dynamic is possibly percieved differently on a fan forum - where people are expected to support teams, managers and to a degree players.

TM only seems happy when we've just tonked someone, ignoring progress and making incendiary and insultingly provocative statements. It does seem like his inclusion is a deliberate editorial policy to muster controversy and therefore web hits.
 
I think what annoys people is the fact that Tony Marsh and Kendrick don't applaud the side when they have done well, they only make it apparent when they have a blip (which to be fair, all our defeats this year have been blips)

We have diversity on this forum, but we do give credit when its due, which unfortunately TW does not.

Even when we win, its tinged with a sarcastic comment by Kendrick.
